US Withdraws from Syria Air Base

U.S. forces have completed their withdrawal from Qasrak Air Base, in Syria’s
Hasakah province, according to Syrian officials.

The Syrian army now controls the military sites previously held by the U.S.

The withdrawal follows a deal between Syria's central government and the
Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces.

U.S. forces began leaving the base in late February, as part of a broader
drawdown.

The U.S. military has not yet commented on the withdrawal.
