Iran threatens ports in Gulf

Now turning to international news...

Iran is threatening ports in gulf states following the US announcement of a
blockade on Iran's ports and coastline.

State media said that security in the persian gulf and sea of oman is for
everyone or for no one.

Meanwhile intelligence indicates that ships have stopped moving through the
Strait of Hormuz.

The US has said that the blockade will involve all Iranian ports but would
allow ships traveling between non-Iranian ports to transit through.

Meanwhile Iran has said that the strait remains under Iran's full control,
and is open to non-military ships.
