Fog causes flight cancellations in Kinmen

Heavy fog in Kinmen has caused over a thousand passengers to be stranded on
the island as they seek to return to Taiwan.

Yesterday, on the final day of the tomb sweeping long weekend, 22 flights
from Kinmen to airports all around Taiwan were cancelled, affecting over 2000
travelers.

And just this morning, 2 more flights were cancelled while several others
were delayed.

Depite the fog however, some flighs have been able to take off.

Passengers say they're hoping more flights or ferries will be added as
standby spots on existing flights are limited.

Currently, some passengers still stuck at the airport are expecting to be
able to get on a plane Thusday at the earliest.
