Foxconn posts highest-ever Q1 sales on strong AI demand

Taiwan-based manufacturing giant Hon Hai Precision Industry has reported
record first-quarter sales, driven by strong demand for AI-related products.

The company posted revenue of more than 2-point-1 trillion Taiwan dollars, up
nearly 30 percent from a year earlier.

Hon Hai says growth was led by its cloud and networking division, with
increased shipments of AI servers and related devices.

Other segments, including components and consumer electronics, also saw
gains, though its computing division reported a slight decline.

March sales alone hit a new monthly high, reflecting accelerating demand.

Looking ahead, the company expects continued growth in the second quarter,
supported by rising AI server shipments, despite it being a slower season for
the industry.

However, Hon Hai cautioned that global political and economic uncertainties
could still affect its outlook.
