CWA Dismisses Heavy Rain Advisories

The Central Weather Administration has lifted its heavy rain advisories for
much of northern and central Taiwan, as conditions begin to ease.

Residents in Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Miaoli and
Taichung can now expect drier, though still cloudy, weather.

Independent meteorologist Wu Der-rong says the weather front affecting Taiwan
is moving southward.

However, he warns that another front arriving tomorrow could bring renewed
showers and thunderstorms to areas north of central Taiwan.

Wu adds that conditions are expected to stabilize from Wednesday, with hotter
weather likely from Thursday.
