Leak at Taoyuan Airport MRT Taipei Main Station Linked to Construction Site

Crews are working to contain a water leak on the Taoyuan Airport MRT at A1
Taipei Main Station.

The leak occurred early this morning on the B1 level of the station ...
affecting part of the pre-flight check-in hall.

Officials say it was linked to nearby construction at the nearby Taipei Twin
Towers project, combined with heavy rain that caused water to accumulate at
the site and seep into the station along structural columns.

Staff have set up water collection and isolation measures, while crews
continue drainage and cleanup work on-site.

Train services and passenger movement have not been affected.
