Taichung Mayor on campaign for mayoral office

Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen has announced a rally tomorrow afternoon to show
a united front in the mayoral campaign.



Bringing together Johnny Chiang and KMT lawmaker Yang Qiong-ying, Lu says
both will attend the event at 2 p.m., along with all party city council
candidates, at the KMT’s Taichung headquarters.



The mayor noted that progress has been delayed by about two months due to
primary elections, and efforts now need to accelerate.



She also pledged full support for TPP city council candidates, saying
cooperation between the blue and white camps is the way forward.
