US journalist kidnapped in Iraq

Iraqi officials say a US journalist was kidnapped in Baghdad.

They're pursuing her captors.

The journalist was identified as freelancer Shelly Kittleson by an outlet she
worked for.

A US official blamed the Iran-backed Iraqi militia.

Iraqi officials say that two cars were involved in the kidnapping, one of
which crashed while being pursued.

Kittleson was then transferred to the second car that fled.
