HSR Customer Service Goes Digital

Taiwan High Speed Rail is launching a new in-cabin digital service that lets
passengers report problems directly to the train conductor.

Starting today, passengers can scan a QR code printed on the safety
instruction card found in the seat pocket in front of them.

The request goes directly to the conductor for immediate action.

Passengers are reminded that the digital system is for non-emergency reports
only.

HSR officials say the tool is part of an ongoing effort to promote a "quiet
cabin culture."

For situations involving infants or young children, the company says staff
will provide care and assistance following a family-friendly policy.

They are asking other passengers to remain understanding in those cases.
