The Kaohsiung Ciaotou District Prosecutors' Office says a former C-P-C executive who went missing days before being sentenced to 25 years in prison for corruption earlier this week has been detained in Taitung.
According to the prosecutors' office, Hsu Han was arrested Jinfeng Township.
However, prosecutors have not said how authorities managed to track him down.
Hsu went missing on March 19 after removing his ankle monitor in Pingtung's Wanluan Township.
He was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the Ciaotou District Court on Monday.
The court found him guilty on 11 counts of corruption related to his receiving 16-million N-T in bribes for steering eight purchasing contracts worth almost 1-billion N-T to select companies ..
... and of holding an additional 4-million N-T in assets for which he failed to explain the sources.
