Taipei to Host 2026 World Indoor Tug of War Championships

The 2026 World Indoor Tug of War Championships are being held in Taiwan for
the first time.

The competition runs from March twelfth through the fifteenth at the Taipei
Arena — that's tomorrow through Sunday.

According to the Taipei City Department of Sports, more than one thousand top
athletes from fourteen countries and regions are taking part.

Spectators can attend for free by reserving tickets online.

Organizers say about four thousand seats are available at the arena, with
around one thousand still open each day.

However, tickets for the championship sessions on March fourteenth and
fifteenth are going quickly.

Fans are being encouraged to watch Taiwan's women's team, which is aiming for
a fourth consecutive world championship title.
