TSMC looks to recruit 8,000 employees in 2026

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. has launched a campus recruiting drive
in Taiwan, with a target of hiring 8,000 new employees here this year.

TSMC says it's looking to hire engineers with expertise in a gamut of
specializations -- from electrical and chemical engineering to
optoelectronics and materials science. It's also looking to fill vacancies in
human resources, business management and accounting.

The average starting annual salary for newly recruited engineers with a
master's degree is expected to reach NT$2.2 million.

TSMC is concurrently recruiting third-year and above undergraduates to
participate in its summer internship program. The application deadline is May
8.
