Highway Bureau to Process Delayed T-PASS 2.0 Cashback

The Highway Bureau says it will process January cashback rewards for the
T-PASS 2.0 monthly transport pass program as soon as all procedures are
complete.

The rewards, originally scheduled for distribution on February 25th, were put
on hold after the central government's general budget was stalled in the
legislature.

But today the Legislative Yuan approved an opposition-led motion to
fast-track 71.8 billion NT for several key projects, including funding for
T-PASS.

According to the Highway Bureau, around 72 thousand passengers are eligible
for January cashback rewards, which totals around 7.72 million NT.

Officials emphasize that the delay did not affect the calculation of rewards,
and all passenger rights remain protected.
