Over NT$20,000 in pension fund earnings distributed to most workers

Millions of workers in Taiwan saw a significant boost to their retirement
savings today ...

...after the Bureau of Labor Insurance distributed record-breaking investment
gains from the New Labor Pension Fund.

According to the bureau, nearly 60 percent of those enrolled, which is over
7.7 million workers, received a deposit of over 20-thousand NT into their
individual accounts.

Nearly 38 percent of workers — around 5 million — fared even better,
receiving over 50-thousand NT.

The fund's investments reported record gains of nearly 747 billion NT in 2025
— a significant jump of over 50 billion NT from the year before.

Workers can check their updated balances on the BLI website, at local ATMs,
or in person at a bureau office.
