Over 2,000 Taiwanese tourists affected by attacks on Iran

The Tourism Administration says at least 2 thousand Taiwanese travelers have
been affected by the military operations in the Middle East.

Officials say of those people, some 45 tour groups involving 1,200 people are
now stranded overseas due to flight cancellations and delays.

Another 31 tour groups, with 850 people set to depart from February 28th
onward, have been canceled, and agencies are now processing refunds.

The Administration is urging travel agencies to help travelers return home as
soon as possible, and to ensure proper lodging and meals if immediate return
is not possible.
