According to a survey by Newsweek and a global data platform, Statista,
Taipei Veterans General Hospital and NTU Hospital featured on Newsweek's list
of the world's 250 best hospitals in 2026.

Taipei Veterans made the list at No. 174, while NTU Hospital returned to the
rankings at No. 249 after three years of absence.

In its 8th year, the World's Best Hospitals rankings this year include data
on over 2-thousand 500 hospitals across 32 countries, including 35 in Taiwan.

The rankings were based on hospital quality metrics, hospital recommendations
from surveyed medical experts and patient experience surveys

According to Newsweek’s 2026 rankings, three of the top five hospitals in
the world are in the United States, including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic
and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Canada's University Health Network - Toronto General Hospital stood at the
second place, while Sweden's Karolinska University Hospital was ranked number
4.
