Taipei's Grand Hotel warns of possible data breach after cyberattack

The Grand Hotel in Taipei is warning customers a possible data breach...
after the hotel discovered unauthorized access to its information systems
last week.

The hotel says it issued the notice as a precaution, since the scope and
targets of the attack have yet to be fully assessed.

Its has also issued apology to the members of the public for any concern
caused by the situation.

Customers are being urged to remain on the alert against suspicious emails
and to verify any messages requesting payment or personal financial
information.

The hotel has requested the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau to
investigate the incident.
