TRC Changes Payment Options for Ticket Upgrades and Adjustments

Starting March 2nd, passengers on the Taiwan Railway will be able to pay for
fare upgrades and ticket adjustments using credit cards and mobile payments
at all stations.

The new service aims to make travel more convenient for passengers who need
to change their travel plans but may not have enough cash on hand.

The Taiwan Railway Corporation announced today that its ticket supplement
counters will expand payment options beyond traditional cash.

The update allows for faster transactions for travelers who need to pay fare
differences or change their itineraries mid-trip.



The system will support a wide range of digital payment methods.

TRC officials say the change is a major step in improving the passenger
experience by providing modern and flexible payment solutions across the
entire rail network.
