DPP has nominated Zhou Chun-mi and Chen Guang-fu for 2nd term

Two incumbent County Magistrates have been nominated for reelection by the
ruling DPP.

DPP chairman Lai Ching-te says Zhou Chun-mi (周春米) and Chen Guang-fu
(陳光復) have both performed well during their first term, adding that he has
confidence in them to continue leading Ping-dong and Peng-hu for a brighter
future.

He touted Zhou's warm, caring leadership style, saying that she has
strengthened her county through efforts in cultural branding, long-term care
services, family and parenting policies.

Lai also praised Chen, saying he has worked hard to bring change and drive
local development and his “pragmatic governance” has focused on bringing
the government’s public debt down to zero.
