Public Service Year-End Bonuses Coming February Sixth

The government has announced that year-end bonuses for government workers
will be paid out on February 6th, just ahead of the Lunar New Year.

According to the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, civil
servants, teachers, military personnel, and eligible support staff will
receive a year-end work bonus worth up to one-and-a-half months' salary.

On top of that, performance bonuses could add another half to a full month's
pay, depending on annual evaluations.

Officials say bonus payments are based on time served, and may also apply to
those who retired or left their posts during the year.
