Six new at-large TPP lawmakers were sworn in earlier today, replacing their predecessors, including party chairman Huang Guo-chang.
The arrangement is in compliance with the opposition party's 2-year term rules.
Huang said his party will announce its priority bills for this legislative session tomorrow, and the TPP legislative caucus leaders will also meet their KMT counterparts to exchange opinions about the bills.
The TPP has designated Taichung City Councilor Chen Qing-long (陳清龍) as the caucus convener.
The new lawmakers include Chinese spouse Li Zhen-xiu, who has come under pressure to renounce her Chinese nationality.
Li said she tried to do so in her hometown in China, but the application was not accepted.
The Interior Ministry, meanwhile, said she should provide proof.
