Taipei to expand milk program

The Taipei City government says, it's expanding its free milk program to
include kids as young as 2 years old.

That program has provided 1 free carton of milk or soy milk weekly to kids in
the city as young as in kindergarten.

But starting in Feburary, kids as young as 2 can take advantage, getting one
free carton of milk or soy milk at their local convenience store or Carrofour
supermarket.

Officials say, regardless of whether or not the student is enrolled in
kindergarten, Taipei City residents can apply for a digital card when their
child turns two.

They note that, to apply, parents can bring their ID and household
registration certificate to a district office in the city.
