7-Eleven to Launch Taiwan's Priciest Convenience Store Coffee

7-Eleven is setting a new record for the most expensive cup of coffee ever sold in a Taiwan convenience store.
Starting this Wednesday, the company is launching a premium hand-brewed Royal Bean Geisha Estate coffee under its 'Unbelievable Coffee' brand, priced at two thousand NT per cup.
However, this ultra-premium brew will only be available at five select locations nationwide.
The move comes as international coffee bean prices remain high.
7-Eleven says the strategy helps widen its product range without raising prices for its mainstream CITY CAFE lineup.
Meanwhile, rival FamilyMart is taking a different approach with a more budget-friendly option.
It's launching its own Alishan-blend coffee at over 4 thousand stores this week, but keeping prices firmly under one hundred NT.
