Driving around Kinmen has just gotten a bit more convenient.

Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection has officially rolled out its uTagGo
automatic parking payment service on the outlying island, allowing drivers to
skip paper bills and payment queues.

The new system enables roadside parking fees to be deducted automatically
after motorists bind their license plate to a credit card or digital wallet
just once.

Company officials say the service is designed to give both local residents
and tourists the same digital convenience already available on Taiwan's main
island.

The Kinmen County Government says the move supports its push for smart,
tourist-friendly transportation, adding to existing payment options such as
kiosks, convenience stores, and mobile payments.

The service is being introduced first in designated roadside parking zones
across Jinhu, Jincheng, and Jinning townships, with more areas expected to
follow.
