The New Taipei City government says its annual "Christmasland" event has drawn 7.4 million visitors.
The festival ended its 45-day run on December 28th, and city officials say Christmasland has become one of the most popular year-end events in Taiwan.
City officials say this year's celebration attracted crowds through its use of advanced technology, including 3D light shows and concert-grade projection techniques.
Visitors also experienced mechanical art installations and immersive displays for all five senses.
The city says the large crowds boosted tourism and local spending in the surrounding neighborhoods, and it is looking forward to more creative designs and cross-industry partnerships in the future.
