McDonald’s Milkshake Returns to Taiwan After 9 Years

Hundreds of eager customers lined up outside McDonald’s outlets across
Taiwan today as the fast-food chain re-launched its milkshake after nearly a
decade.

The drink is back for a limited trial at 12 restaurants, drawing fans as
early as 7:30 AM for the 10:30 AM release.

McDonald's ended milkshake sales in Taiwan in November 2016 ... due to
lower-than-expected demand, but the drink retained a loyal following.

The returning milkshakes come in vanilla and strawberry, with a
four-per-customer limit.

The promotion also includes special Grimace-themed items, including a fuzzy
bag and a Taiwan-exclusive tote.
