A landslide has buried a passenger bus on a treacherous mountain pass in Vietnam, killing six people and injuring 19 others, as more heavy rain is forecast into the week.
The earth and rocks collapsed onto the bus late last night as it was traveling through the Khanh Le pass in the central highlands.
Landslides also occurred on both sides of the pass, delaying rescuers from reaching the scene.
Vietnam has been hit hard by typhoons and other rainfall this year, and it's among the world’s most flood-prone countries, with nearly half its population living in high-risk areas.
