Taoyuan Airport MRT warning of possible service disruptions over the coming days as Typhoon Fung-Wong moves closer to Taiwan.
The operator says trains are currently running on schedule, but services may be adjusted depending on wind speeds once typhoon warnings take effect.
Updates will be released through its official website, social media pages, and its app.
Taoyuan Metro says it has activated its typhoon response procedures, inspecting floodgates, pumps, and tunnel safety systems to ensure passenger safety.
If the Taoyuan, New Taipei, or Taipei city governments announce work closures, express trains will be canceled, though commuter trains (those that stop at every station) will run every 15 minutes.
If only schools are closed, express services will continue as usual.
The company adds that if wind speeds reach safety limits, train operations may be suspended entirely.
