Trump's Justice Department to monitor polling sites in CA, NJ

The US Justice Department will monitor polling sites in California and New Jersey in response to requests by Republican Party officials in the two states, according to the New York Times.
Voters are heading to the polls on Nov. 4.
In New Jersey, they'll be electing a governor. Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli are running in a close race to succeed New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.
In California, voters will be deciding whether to approve Proposition 50, which would allow the Democratic government to gerrymander Congressional districts to favor Democrats -- a reaction to Texas Republicans' redistricting at the bidding of US President Donald Trump.
Trump has blamed his 2020 election loss on rigged voting, although there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud.
