TPP Chair and Lawmaker Huang Kuo-Chang is again refuting Mirror Daily reports alleging wrongdoing on his part.
That's after Radio Taiwan International was targeted with cyberattacks, with prosecutors saying they believed the 3 suspects intended to launch an attack on R-T-I again on National Day.
Prosecutors are currently investigating two RTI employees and an outside contractor in connection with the case.
Mirror Daily reported that one of the suspects was recruited by Huang to steal sensitive online information and to post personal conversations between two former DPP politicians.
Huang today criticized the report as "nonsense and fabricated," saying the suspect had told him that the R-T-I website had some data safety vulnerabilities.
He said before the suspect could provide more information, Mirror took tidbits from the case and "started writing fiction."
Huang also said that prosecutors would come to him directly if they had concrete evidence of his involvement.
