Li Hong Yuan supports Zheng Li Wen for KMT chair

Former Interior Minister Li Hong Yuan says, he support Zheng Li Wen for KMT
party chair, saying that Zheng will help the party get its spirit back.

Zheng called Li the most important person to help conceive of what the
party's future would look like.

The KMT chairmanship election is set for October 18th, and Zheng has been
visiting several areas to try to win support.

She says that, other than cross-strait issues, the most important issues for
her as chair will be zero carbon emissions and sustainable development.

She added that these issues were also national security issues, and said that
Li Hong Yuan was the most important expert in this field, prompting her to
seek his advice.
