The Taipei District Court has again granted bail to former mayor Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) and city councilor Ying Hsiao-wei (應曉薇) in the "Core Pacific City" corruption case, keeping their original bail amounts unchanged.
Ko remains free on 70 million NT, while Ying is on 30 million.
Both are restricted from leaving their residences, traveling abroad, or contacting other defendants and witnesses.
They must also wear electronic monitoring devices.
The court had initially approved bail on September 5th, but prosecutors appealed.
The High Court sent the case back, saying the lower court needed further review.
After re-opening the detention hearing today, the district court upheld its earlier decision.
