Kaohsiung Gdynia Sign Sister City Agreement

Kaohsiung City has signed a sister city agreement with Gdynia, Poland.

Kaohsiung Deputy Mayor Lo Ta-sheng, signed the agreement with Gdynia's Mayor,
Aleksandra Kosiorek, during a three-day visit to Poland.

Gdynia is Kaohsiung's first sister city in Poland and the 43rd overall.

The two officials say they will deepen cooperation in a variety of fields,
including education, culture, trade, and smart city development.

Gdynia is located in northern Poland and, like Kaohsiung, is known for its
harbor.

The city has been recognized as a "smart city" by the World Council on City
Data.
