Man who spied on Falun Gong for CCP sentence finalized

The Supreme Court has uphold the one year two month prinson sentence for a man who tried to spy on Falun Gong followers for China's State Security Ministry.
The verdict is final after multiple appeals.
According to investigations, Xue Zhen Chun (薛禎純), a businessman that often traveled across the Taiwan Strait, met two Chinese State Security officials responsible for intelligence work in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in 2014.
They instructed him to gather information about Falun Gong practicioners going into and out of Taiwan.
Xue tried to solicit the info from a Taiwanese government official, who declined his request.
Even so, a lower court had ruled that people entering and leaving Taiwan is classified information and should never be revealed to Chinese authorities, adding that Xue violated the National Security Act.
