Boris Johnson on peaceful dialogue in Taiwan

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was calling for dialogue between
Taiwan and China when delivering a speech at the Ketagalan Forum:
Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue in Taipei this morning.

Johnson compared Taiwan's situation with that of Ukraine, saying that it's of
grave importance to avoid military conflicts.

Johnson, who served as the Prime Minister between 2019 and 2022, commented
that he decided not to make chips in the U.K. during his tenure.
He's also stressed that the UK stands with Taiwan in defending freedom and
democracy.
