Alishan Railway Main Line to Resume Operations Tomorrow

The Alishan Forest Railway's Main Line is set to resume operations tomorrow.

Alishan officials say Typhoon Danas caused extensive disruptions along the
Chiayi to Alishan section of the tracks, but cleanup efforts were completed
yesterday afternoon.

Today, the entire line is undergoing inspections and test runs to ensure it
is safe for operation.

Officials say the main line reopens tomorrow, while the "Hinoki Train", which
runs between Beimen and Chiayi Stations on Saturdays and Sundays, will remain
temporarily closed.
