Nantou councilor recall set for 7/13; prosecutors dispatched to ensure

The recall of DPP Nantou county councilor Chen Yu Ling is set for next
Sunday, and prosecutors in the county are dispatching personnel to Zhushan
and Lugu police departments to ensure fairness in voting.

County prosecutors emphasize that this is the first recall to face a vote in
this year's wave of recalls, therefore it will face the most public scrutiny.

They say, that means the government must work to ensure the fairness of the
process, combining prosecutors, police, and investigators.

Officials encourage the public to report any illegal activities related to
the recall on july 13th.
