The Civil Aeronautics Administration is investigating a China Airlines flight that reportedly failed to turn in time while landing in Busan, South Korea.
A former pilot alleged on social media that on June 25th, C-A-L flight C-I-186 did not turn in time before its landing, allegedly causing the plane to cross the boundary of a nearby expressway and nearly hit a mountain.
This comes after the same flight landed on the wrong runway just two weeks earlier.
China Airlines has responded to the report, saying that as the plane was preparing to land on June 25th, the aircraft did not meet conditions for a stable approach, and the crew aborted the landing and circled around for another attempt.
The CAA says it has ordered China Airlines to review the matter and implement measures including additional training.
