The Yilan District Prosecutors' Office has indicted 12 staffers from the K-M-T offices in Yilan County for allegedly forging signatures in a campaign to recall D-P-P lawmaker Chen Chun-yu.
Those charged include Lin Ming-chang, the chairman of the K-M-T's Yilan County chapter, and and two senior local party officials.
The other nine were the heads of K-M-T offices in local townships and cities.

Prosecutors say Lin and the two senior local party officials instructed the nine other suspects to forge some 4,000 signatures using party member information - and each staffe was paid between 100 and 150 N-T per hour.
Of the around 4,000 falsified signatures, 1,106 were selected and combined with 3,100 signatures from actual K-M-T supporters before the petition was submitted to the Central Election Commission.
