Taoyuan Airport North Concourse Gate Hall to Open Q3Q4

Part of the new terminal at Taoyuan International Airport will open for
operations later this year.

The Taoyuan International Airport Corporation says the North Concourse Gate
Hall will be the first part of Terminal 3 to begin operations in the third or
fourth quarter this year.

The company says construction is nearly complete, and workers are currently
installing moving walkways.

Terminal 3 is set to serve three Taiwan airlines, China Airlines, E-V-A Air
and STARLUX.

But the North and South Concourses will be used flexibly, with all airlines
including foreign carriers allowed to park there, depending on operational
needs.

Taoyuan airport officials say it takes just 15 minutes to walk from Terminal
2 to the farthest gate in the North Concourse using moving walkways, and
shuttle service will also be available for travelers with mobility needs.
