Chinese 'military unification' influencer forcibly deported

The National Immigration Agency has forcibly deported a Chinese national whose family-based residence permit was revoked over social media posts advocating China's "military unification" with Taiwan.
Xiao Wei was escorted to Taoyuan International Airport by immigration officials after she failed to leave the country before the deadline of her deportation order.
She was put on a flight to Guangzhou.
The woman, whose marriage to a Taiwanese citizen provided the basis for her long-term residency in the county, reported to the National Immigration Agency prior to being escorted her to the airport.
The agency has said the woman's residence permit was revoked after she repeatedly advocated for China's military takeover of Taiwan on the Chinese social media site Douyin.
The agency ordered her to leave Taiwan within a 10-day period.
However, as she refused to comply and authorities then decided to forcibly remove her from the country.
