One of two Chinese nationals facing forcible deportation after advocating China's "military unification" with Taiwan has left the country from Taipei's Songshan Airport.
Known by her online moniker En Qi on the Chinese social media platform Douyin, the influencer boarded a flight to Chengdu that took off at around 6.30 last night.
Her departure came just hours before she faced forcible deportation proceedings.
Another Chinese national known by her Douyin alias Xiao Wei was also expected to leave Taiwan on Monday, but did not show up at the airport in time to board the last flight of the day to China.
The National Immigration Agency earlier revoked both of their family-based residence permits and ordered them to leave the country over posts they made on their social media accounts that advocated for China to annex Taiwan using military force.
Both woman's residences had been based on their marriages to Taiwanese citizens.
They denied they supported "military unification" and filed separate appeals against their deportation orders.
