Kaohsiung’s Formosa Boulevard Station Named One of World’s Most Beautiful

The UK’s Daily Mail has ranked Kaohsiung’s Formosa Boulevard Station among
the world’s 12 most beautiful metro stations.

The station is famous for its stunning "Dome of Light"--the world’s largest
glass art installation, covering 660 square meters with 4,500 glass panels.

The artwork represents water, earth, light, and fire, drawing visitors who
come to admire and photograph it.

Located at the intersection of Kaohsiung’s Red and Orange metro lines, the
station also features a public piano for spontaneous performances.

Formosa Boulevard joins metro stations from Bangkok, Tashkent, and Chengdu on
the Daily Mail’s prestigious list, highlighting Taiwan’s presence among the
world’s most visually striking transit hubs.
