The National Immigration Agency says two more Chinese nationals whose marriage-based residence permits were revoked for advocating "military unification" with China must leave Taiwan by the end of this month.
The two women are known by the monikers of Xiao Wei and En Qi on the Chinese social media platform Douyin.
According to the immigration agency, they must leave Taiwan by March 31 or face forced deportation in accordance with the law.
The agency says it had not received any appeals from the two individuals.
Officials say Xiao Wei and En Qi are both legal residents in Taiwan through marriage, but had their residence permits revoked for making statements advocating China's "military unification" of Taiwan,
The immigration agency says Xiao Wei posted multiple videos on the internet, making remarks such as "five-star red flags are seen all over the streets in Taiwan" ...
.. while En Qi said in videos posted online that "the People's Liberation Army demonstrates its strong military strength and adamantly maintains" China's "sovereignty," and "Taiwan is an inseparable part of China."
