Aid agencies in Ethiopia are being forced to stop feeding millions of people because of the US Trump administration's restrictions on foreign aid.
They say there's no money for fuel, trucks, and drivers to distribute existing stockpiles of food because of the cuts to USAID.
Ethiopia's Tigray region saw war from 2020 to 2022, with the domestic government greatly reducing aid, before the US and UN grain distributions were halted for months over internal issues.
The country of over 125 million people has been a major beneficiary of US aid in Africa, leading many to believe that the USAID cuts will spurn even more cases of malnutrition and disease.
In addition to food, funds were also spent on HIV medication, vaccines, literacy programs, and job creation.
