The Supreme Court upheld prison sentences for two former Air Force officers, Yeh and Su, for passing military intelligence to China.
Yeh was sentenced to five years and ten months, while Su received five years and eight months.
According to the court, the case originated in 2015 when a Taiwanese businessman, surnamed Huang, and his son were recruited by a Chinese intelligence officer to establish a spy network in Taiwan.
They recruited Yeh and Su, who provided classified military information in exchange for money.
The Huangs received 1.716 million NT, while Yeh received 210-thousand NT and Su 100-thousand NT.
All four individuals were conducted under the National Security Act, and other laws.
After multiple appeals, the Supreme Court finalized the sentences, rejecting the officers' latest attempt to overturn their convictions.
