Taiwan President FA Cup Kicks Off April

The first-ever Taiwan President FA cup is now open for registration.

The Chinese Taipei Football Association says players aged 18 and older can
now register for the games which begin on April 12th, with teams competing
for a total prize pool of $4.7-million NT.

The association says Taiwan's adult soccer scene deserves more recognition,
and now is the right time to establish the highest-level domestic competition
outside of the corporate league.

C-T-F-A says that Taiwan has previously hosted national-level tournaments,
and it hopes the event will also help develop young talent and provide
national team coaches with potential recruits.
