Actor Suspended Sentence Confirmed in Sexual Assault Case

Actor You Sheng (宥勝), also known as Chris Wang, has received a suspended
sentence after being convicted of sexual assault.

The Taipei District Court initially sentenced You to eight months in prison
for forcibly assaulted a woman he met at work in 2016.

He appealed only the sentencing, and the case moved to the Taiwan High Court,
which upheld the sentence but suspended it for five years.

The verdict is now final, as no appeals were filed.

You has paid a fine of $2-million NT, and is under orders to attend a
rehabilitation program.
