Taiwan has wrapped-up the 2024 Tug of War Outdoor World Championship in in
Mannheim, Germany with a medal haul of six golds, two silvers and one bronze.

That tally is Taiwan's best ever result at the tournament.

Taiwan won gold in the women's 500-kilogram, U-23 mixed 560-kilogram and the
Under 19 women's 480-kilogram categories, while it won
silver in the Under 19 men's 560-kilogram and bronze in the men's
680-kilogram on Sunday.

The bronze in the men's 680-kilogram marked the first medal for Taiwan's
senior men.

While the win in the women's 500-kilogram category means the team has
qualified for the World Games, which will held in Chengdu, China.

Those wins followed golds in the women's 540-kilogram, the Under 19 mixed
520-kilogram and the under 23 women's 500-kilogram, as well as a silver in
the Under 23 men's 600-kilogram on Saturday.

Taiwan's team at the 2024 Tug of War Outdoor World Championship consisted on
93 athletes, who competed in 12 categories.
