Four crew members on Peng-hu's Da-jin-man 88 have returned to a Taiwan fishing vessel and are expected to arrive back in Peng-hu Xi-yu tonight.
They and the Dajinman's Taiwanese captain Hong were detained by Chinese Coast Guard on July 2nd for violating China's moratorium of fishing when they allegedly operated in China's territorial waters.
The five people on the vessel, including two Taiwanese and 3 Indonesians, were sent to Quan-zhou city's Wei-tou Harbor and stayed there for 41 days.
Former KMT legislator Lin Bing-kun and several other former officials had been negotiating with Fujian Province's Taiwan Affairs office for their release.
In the end, the Chinese side agreed to release 4 of the crew, while Captain Hong and his fishing vessel can only be expected after the legal procedures are completed
The exact time has not yet been determined by Fujian's Taiwan Affairs Office.
